Job Description
Role: Own the end-to-end operations, guest experience and profitability of a restaurant.
Key Responsibilities & KPIs
- Own restaurant P&L, sales targets, food cost, labour cost, inventory and operating budgets.
- Deliver exceptional guest experience, monitor reviews, resolve complaints personally and convert unhappy guests into repeat customers.
- Conduct daily on-the-job training and ensure food quality, hygiene, service standards and kitchen SOPs are followed.
- Manage ordering, vendor coordination, stock availability and inventory control.
- Own team performance, staff satisfaction, retention and timely replacement. Build an independent recruitment network rather than relying entirely on HR.
- Ensure quick resolution of repairs, maintenance and operational issues.
- Mandatory floor presence: Minimum 75% of working time on the restaurant floor, including weekend peak hours and closing shifts.
Experience: Restaurant GM or senior restaurant operations experience in casual dining, bars, or restaurant-led QSR formats.
