Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that solutions are tailored to meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The engineer actively manages the lifecycle of software components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance throughout the development process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation of design decisions and development processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance application functionality and performance.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting ERP.
- Strong understanding of enterprise resource planning systems and their integration within business processes.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP modules to align with organizational requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to revenue accounting and reporting.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting ERP.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
