Shift Incharge

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the store during the assigned shift.

• Monitor daily sales, transactions, stock movement and operational activities.
• Ensure all products are available, properly stored and served as per quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and store presentation.
• Allocate duties and prepare/execute shift-wise task assignments.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and adherence to company policies.
• Motivate the team to achieve sales targets.
• Handle team-related issues and escalate concerns to the Area Manager when required.
• Handle customer queries, complaints and feedback professionally.
• Resolve customer issues within the scope of authority and escalate where required.
• Ensure accurate order taking, billing and delivery.
• Monitor product-wise sales and identify opportunities to increase sales.
• Encourage upselling and cross-selling by the team.
• Ensure cash and digital payment transactions are accurately managed.
• Monitor daily inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Conduct stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Minimise product wastage and operational losses.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Follow all company SOPs and statutory requirements applicable to store operations.
