Job Overview

Shri Ganesh Traders is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for handling customers, understanding their requirements, presenting suitable products, generating sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to achieve sales targets in a fast-paced showroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and assist customers visiting the showroom and understand their requirements.
• Explain product features, specifications, pricing, and benefits clearly to customers.
• Recommend suitable products based on customer needs and budget.
• Generate leads through showroom enquiries, calls, references, and follow-ups.
• Follow up with prospective customers and convert enquiries into sales.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate with customers regarding pricing and product availability.
• Maintain regular communication with existing and potential customers.
• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, follow-ups, quotations, and sales.
• Coordinate with the inventory, billing, and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing.
• Stay updated on product range, new launches, offers, and market trends.
• Handle customer queries and resolve basic issues professionally.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming showroom environment.
• Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, showroom sales, retail, or customer handling preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer-handling and negotiation abilities.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer operations.
• Ability to prepare quotations and maintain customer records.
• Good follow-up and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Candidates with experience in building materials, plywood, laminates, hardware, furniture, interiors, or related industries will be preferred.
