 About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on CAD & Prototype Integration Engineer who can convert engineering ideas into actual working prototypes.

This is not just a CAD drafting job.

You will work on mechanical design, fabrication coordination, prototype assembly, testing and improving designs based on real-world results.

 What You Will Do

 Create 3D CAD models, parts and assemblies

 Design brackets, frames, mounts, enclosures, shafts and mechanisms

 Prepare manufacturing drawings and DXF files

 Design components for:

  CNC machining

  Laser cutting

  Sheet metal

  3D printing

 Coordinate with fabrication vendors

 Inspect manufactured parts

 Assemble robotic/mechanical prototypes

 Install motors, gearboxes, sensors, cameras and electronics

 Identify mechanical fitment/interference issues

 Modify and improve designs after prototype testing

 Support prototype and field testing

 Skills Required

You should be comfortable using at least one of:

SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Inventor / Creo / CATIA

Basic understanding of:

 Mechanical assemblies

 Manufacturing drawings

 Tolerances

 Bearings, shafts and couplings

 Fasteners and materials

 Manufacturing processes

 Preferred Skills

Candidates with exposure to any of the following will be preferred:

 SolidWorks or Fusion 360

 Sheet-metal design

 3D printing

 CNC machining

 Laser-cut components

 Welding/fabrication

 Mechanism design

 Motor & gearbox mounting

 Basic GD&T / FEA

 Robotics or Mechatronics

 Basic electrical/electronics knowledge

 Who Should Apply?

We are looking for someone who enjoys actually building things, not only designing them on a computer.

Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of experience can apply.

Candidates with hands-on experience from college projects, Formula Student, BAJA, robotics competitions, personal projects, machines, vehicles or prototypes are encouraged to apply.

Portfolio preferred: CAD models, fabricated components, machines, robots or any project you have personally designed and built.
