Credit Officer - Affordable Housing Finance

Credit Officer

• Analyze home loan applications under Affordable Housing Finance segment
• Assess borrower profiles including salaried, self-employed, and informal income customers
• Conduct detailed credit appraisal including income estimation, FOIR, and repayment capacity
• Evaluate property documents and ensure legal & technical compliance
• Verify KYC, banking, and financial documents for authenticity
• Perform field investigation (FI) and residence/business verification when required
• Prepare credit appraisal notes and recommend approvals based on risk assessment
• Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, NHB/RBI guidelines, and compliance norms
• Coordinate with sales, legal, technical, and operations teams for smooth loan processing
• Monitor loan portfolio quality and identify early warning signals
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
