Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Identify manufacturing needs for new products in development.
• Ensure the cost-effective integration of new products or for the improvement of existing ones into manufacturing operations.
• Supervise the shop floor activities closely and achieve the set targets.
• Design fixtures and tooling for assembly tasks.
• Generating production documentation for ISO requirements.
• Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standard work methods and work instructions.
• Support the tender process for components to ensure the best quality for best price.
• Developing the vendor for outsourcing needs in production house and arrange those materials on time.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning work flow and removing waste from the processes.
• Plan and organise maintenance of machines, tools and respond to breakdowns.
• Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process Improvement activities.
• Investigate production and process issues providing technical support and Training.
