Job Summary The Database Analyst will be responsible for collecting, validating, managing, and analyzing large volumes of retail and customer data using IBM SPSS and SQL. The role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights to support business decisions related to customer engagement, mall operations, marketing campaigns, tenant performance, and revenue growth.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain retail, customer, loyalty, footfall, and transaction databases.
• Extract, clean, validate, and transform data using SQL and IBM SPSS.
• Perform statistical analysis, trend analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling using IBM SPSS.
• Analyze customer behavior, shopping patterns, campaign effectiveness, and tenant performance.
• Generate periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and analytical reports for management.
• Identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop data models and statistical reports to support marketing and operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing, leasing, operations, and finance teams to provide data-driven insights.
• Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations for business stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SQL queries, joins, subqueries, views, and stored procedures.
• Experience with data cleaning, data validation, and database management.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques including regression, correlation, hypothesis testing, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query).
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in Database Analysis, Data Analytics, Retail Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools is an added advantage.
