Job Title: Operations Manager – Solar / Renewable Energy
Job Description
You are not joining a company. You are joining a mission.
PowerMitra is working to help businesses, factories, commercial establishments, and societies reduce their electricity costs by adopting clean energy. We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and highly organized Operations Manager who can coordinate between customers, EPC partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and strong customer experience.
This role is not only about following up on projects. We need someone who can understand situations, communicate before problems arise, take ownership, solve customer queries, monitor project performance, and make sure commitments are completed properly.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate between customers, EPC partners, vendors, site teams, and PowerMitra's internal team.
- Ensure smooth execution of solar projects from initial project handover to installation, commissioning, and post-installation support.
- Maintain regular and proactive communication with customers regarding project progress, upcoming activities, documentation requirements, delays, and important updates.
- Coordinate with EPC partners regarding material delivery, manpower, installation schedules, approvals, testing, commissioning, and pending work.
- Understand the customer's requirements, concerns, expectations, and priorities and coordinate internally and with the EPC accordingly.
- Understand EPC challenges and site-level issues and work towards practical solutions without compromising customer commitments.
- Act as the coordination bridge between the customer and EPC to avoid communication gaps, misunderstandings, and unnecessary project delays.
- Track project timelines, milestones, pending activities, dependencies, and closures.
- Escalate important delays, technical issues, customer dissatisfaction, or execution risks to the concerned senior team on time.
- Coordinate site visits, surveys, installation activities, testing, commissioning, and handover requirements.
- Maintain proper project records, photographs, documents, approvals, reports, and communication history.
- Monitor solar plant generation and identify unusual drops, inverter issues, communication issues, or performance concerns.
- Coordinate with technical teams or EPC partners whenever plant generation or system performance requires investigation.
- Track solar module cleaning requirements and Cleaning AMC schedules.
- Coordinate periodic cleaning activities, preventive maintenance, health checks, and AMC services with customers and service partners.
- Support PowerMitra's objective of delivering a professional, transparent, and reliable renewable energy experience to every customer
Candidate Requirement
- Strong follow-up and project tracking capability.
- Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in solar EPC, project coordination, customer service, operations, construction, electrical projects, or renewable energy is preferred.

- Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, CRM, WhatsApp, and email communication preferred.
- Ability to understand customer concerns and respond professionally.
- Must have strong ownership, discipline, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- Should be comfortable working in a startup environment.
- Willingness to learn solar project execution, generation monitoring, AMC, customer management, and EPC coordination.
