1. Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Field Sales Executive responsible for generating leads, converting prospects into customers, and building long-term relationships in the Diesel generator segment. The role involves extensive fieldwork, customer interaction, and achieving sales targets.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Conduct regular field visits, cold calls, and meetings to identify potential customers
- Develop new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, and retail segments
- Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients
B. Lead Conversion & Sales Closure
- Meet prospects regularly to present products and solutions
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable generator models
- Negotiate and close deals effectively to achieve sales targets
C. Follow-ups & Relationship Management
- Maintain consistent follow-ups with leads until closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and partners
- Ensure repeat business and referrals
D. Cross-Selling & Up-Selling
- Promote additional products, AMC services, and accessories
- Identify opportunities to increase customer value
E. Customer Support & Feedback
- Address customer complaints and coordinate with service teams
- Collect feedback to improve product and service quality
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
F. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily sales reports, visit reports, and CRM updates
- Track sales performance and pipeline status
- Use MS Excel/Word for reporting and documentation
3. Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and disciplined
- Problem-solving and customer-handling skills
4. Required Skill Sets
- Domain knowledge in Sales (preferably industrial products/generators)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong language proficiency (Hindi, English; regional language preferred)
- Good communication & presentation skills
- Well-groomed personality with professional attitude
- Willingness and enthusiasm to travel extensively
- Hardworking with a proactive mindset
5. Qualifications & Experience
- Min-1 years of experience in field sales (industrial products preferred)
