1. Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Field Sales Executive responsible for generating leads, converting prospects into customers, and building long-term relationships in the Diesel generator segment. The role involves extensive fieldwork, customer interaction, and achieving sales targets.


2. Key Responsibilities

A. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Conduct regular field visits, cold calls, and meetings to identify potential customers
  • Develop new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, and retail segments
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients

B. Lead Conversion & Sales Closure

  • Meet prospects regularly to present products and solutions
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable generator models
  • Negotiate and close deals effectively to achieve sales targets

C. Follow-ups & Relationship Management

  • Maintain consistent follow-ups with leads until closure
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and partners
  • Ensure repeat business and referrals

D. Cross-Selling & Up-Selling

  • Promote additional products, AMC services, and accessories
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer value

E. Customer Support & Feedback

  • Address customer complaints and coordinate with service teams
  • Collect feedback to improve product and service quality
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention

F. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain daily sales reports, visit reports, and CRM updates
  • Track sales performance and pipeline status
  • Use MS Excel/Word for reporting and documentation

4. Required Skill Sets

  • Domain knowledge in Sales (preferably industrial products/generators)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong language proficiency (Hindi, English; regional language preferred)
  • Good communication & presentation skills
  • Well-groomed personality with professional attitude
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel extensively
  • Hardworking with a proactive mindset


5. Qualifications & Experience

  • Min-1 years of experience in field sales (industrial products preferred)
