Assistant Surveyor

Summary: The Jr. Architect will assist the lead Architect in conducting property surveys under municipal assessment drive. The role focuses on documenting existing site conditions, identifying deviations in structure or usage, interpreting architectural changes, and ensuring that building layouts and modifications align with municipal regulations and urban planning standards.

 Key Responsibilities

·       Assist senior surveyors in conducting land, building, and infrastructure surveys and filling forms.

·       Set up, operate, and maintain surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS systems, levels, and theodolites.

·       Record accurate field measurements and observations during site visits.

·       Support in preparing survey drawings, maps, and reports using collected data.

·       Help identify and mark property boundaries and construction reference points.

·       Perform basic calculations related to distances, angles, and elevations.

·       Ensure compliance with legal standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.

·       Assist in data entry and analysis using CAD, GIS, or other survey software tools.

·       Maintain survey logs, field notes, and documentation for project records.

·       Coordinate with engineers, planners, and project managers to support field operations.

·       Transport and set up equipment at various project sites, often in outdoor conditions.

·       Participate in site inspections, client meetings, and technical reviews as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:·       

Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Civil / Architecture or ITI / Diploma in (Civil/Architectural).

·       6 months – 2 years of experience in architectural design and construction documentation

·       Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, Revit), and knowledge of urban regulatory frameworks

·       Fluency in Marathi (preferred)
