Sales Assistant

• Job ResponsibilitiesIdentify and approach potential merchants/customers in the assigned area.
• Promote SBI Payments products such as POS machines, Soundbox and digital payment solutions.
• Generate new leads through field visits, references and local market activities.
• Acquire new merchants and complete the onboarding process.
• Explain product features, benefits, charges and usage to merchants.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Follow up with leads and convert them into active customers.
• Maintain good relationships with existing merchants.
• Support installation/activation of POS or payment devices.
• Submit daily activity and sales reports to the reporting manager.
• Handle basic customer queries and coordinate with the internal team for issue resolution.

• Candidate ProfileQualification: 12th / Diploma / Any Graduation
• Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates can be considered depending on the opening.
• Experience in field sales, merchant acquisition, banking, fintech, POS or payment solutions is preferred.
• Good communication and convincing skills.
• Target-oriented and willing to work in the field.
• Basic knowledge of smartphones/Android applications.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred for field-sales roles.
