Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

I. Lead Generation & Prospecting:

Targeting: Identify prospective clients, focusing on high-energy-consuming industries

(warehousing, manufacturing, data centers) or high-consumption residential areas.

Outreach: Use cold calling, networking, and digital platforms to secure meetings with facility

managers, CFOs, or business owners.

Database Management: Build and maintain an accurate prospect pipeline using CRM tools.

II. Techno-Commercial Proposals & Presentations:

Site Evaluation: Conduct preliminary site visits to assess roof space, shadow analysis, and

electrical infrastructure.

Financial Modelling: Calculate energy consumption patterns, Return on Investment (ROI),

payback periods, and long-term cost savings.

Pitching: Present customized, techno-commercial proposals that explain project feasibility,

government policies, and subsidies.

III. Sales Negotiation & Deal Closure:

Stakeholder Buy-in: Engage directly with key decision-makers (Purchase Managers, C-level

executives) to negotiate pricing, payment terms, and project scope.

Contract Finalization: Close contracts (CAPEX or OPEX models) while ensuring company profit

margins are maintained.

Compliance: Align proposals with local DISCOM guidelines, state/national renewable energy

policies, and net-metering regulations.

Targets: Have to achieve the given company targets as per the discussion.

IV. Project Handoff & Client Retention:

Internal Coordination: Bridge the gap between the client and the internal engineering/operations

teams once a contract is signed.

Post-Sales Support: Assist with post-installation queries and maintenance contracts to drive

referrals and repeat business.
