QC Associate

Role: Process Supporter – Manufacturing (Quality Execution)

We are building a system where quality is owned within each manufacturing process.

Process Owners drive improvements.

Process Supporters ensure that daily execution is disciplined, consistent, and controlled.

You will work closely with a Process Owner and be responsible for ensuring that quality checks and systems are followed properly on the shopfloor.

What you will do:

• Check first piece approval before production starts
• Perform in-process inspections at defined intervals
• Track rejections (count + reason) during production
• Ensure proper segregation of defective parts
• Maintain basic records and logs
• Support the Process Owner in identifying issues
• Highlight abnormalities immediately (do not ignore problems)
• Ensure drawings and specifications are being followed

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Be present on the shopfloor during production
• Monitor whether processes are running as per standard
• Conduct inspections without skipping or shortcuts
• Maintain cleanliness and order (avoid mixing defects)
• Coordinate with operators for corrections
• Update daily tracking (rejections, issues, checks done)

What success looks like:

• Defects are caught early, not at the end
• No mixing of good and defective parts
• Records are accurate and up to date
• Process Owner is always informed of issues
• Production runs smoothly without surprises

Requirements:

• 0–3 years experience in manufacturing / diploma / ITI
• Basic understanding of measurements and drawings
• Willingness to work on shopfloor

Bonus:

• Experience in quality inspection or production
• Familiarity with measuring instruments
