* Handle complete garment cutting operations from fabric spreading to final cut panels.

* Read and understand patterns, measurements, size charts and cutting layouts.

* Prepare accurate marker plans to minimize fabric wastage.

* Check fabric width, GSM, shrinkage, defects and shade variation before cutting.

* Ensure accurate cutting according to approved samples and measurements.

* Operate and safely handle cutting machines such as straight knife, round knife, etc.

* Maintain proper size-wise and colour-wise bundling of cut panels.

* Ensure proper numbering, tagging and bundling to avoid size/colour mixing.

* Coordinate with the sampling, production and stitching teams.

* Monitor fabric consumption and control cutting wastage.

* Identify and report fabric or pattern-related issues before bulk cutting.

* Maintain daily cutting records and production reports.

* Ensure quality, accuracy and timely completion of cutting targets.

* Supervise helpers and cutting staff and allocate daily work.

Required Skills:

* Strong knowledge of garment cutting and fabric handling.

* Good understanding of T-shirts, kidswear and knit garments.

* Excellent knowledge of measurements, patterns and size grading.

* Ability to reduce fabric wastage through efficient marker planning.

* Good attention to detail and quality consciousness.

* Ability to manage a cutting team independently.
