Counter Salesperson

We are seeking a friendly, customer‑focused Counter Salesperson to join our garment retail team. The role involves assisting customers at the sales counter, managing transactions, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

• Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting garments.
• Provide product information, fabric details, and styling suggestions.
• Handle billing, cash, and digital transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area.
• Manage stock display, folding, and replenishment of garments.
• Address customer queries and resolve complaints politely.
• Support promotional activities and upsell products when appropriate.
• Keep track of daily sales and report to the store manager.

• Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of fabrics, fashion trends, and garment types.
• Ability to handle cash and operate billing systems.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with problem‑solving skills.
• Minimum qualification: High School (10th pass preferred).
• Prior retail or garment sales experience is an advantage.

• Work Environment

• Full‑time, shop‑floor based role.
• Requires standing for long hours and engaging with customers continuously.
