Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and student-friendly Education Counsellor who can guide students in choosing the right courses and support them throughout the admission process. The candidate should be able to understand student needs, explain course details clearly, and help achieve admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Counselling & AdmissionsCounsel students and parents about courses, career options, and institute offerings
• Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs
• Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online enquiries
• Assist students with the admission process and documentation
• Follow up with interested leads and convert them into admissions
• Sales & Lead ManagementMaintain and update lead data in CRM or Excel
• Coordinate with the marketing team for lead generation activities
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional events
• Student Relationship ManagementBuild trust and long-term relationships with students and parents
• Resolve student queries and concerns in a professional manner
• Ensure a positive experience from enquiry to enrollment
• Reporting & CoordinationPrepare daily and weekly counselling reports
• Coordinate with academic and operations teams
• Keep updated with course changes, fees, and policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (Post-graduate preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in education counselling, admissions, or sales
• Good communication skills in English and local language
• Strong convincing and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM, Email)
• Target-oriented and self-motivated
• Preferred SkillsExperience in educational institutes or training centers
• Knowledge of career counselling and student psychology
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
