Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of plant and facility operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, test, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in motors, panels, MCC, PLC systems, and instruments.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
• Replace defective components such as relays, contactors, breakers, and cables.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Support production and utility operations during breakdowns.
• Follow lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) and safety procedures.
• Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of electrical circuits and systems.
• Experience with testing tools (multimeter, megger, clamp meter).
• Basic knowledge of PLC, VFD, and control systems.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of electrical safety standards.
• QualificationsITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience (industry preferred).
• Electrical license/certification (B or C)
