Purchase Executive

Job Responsibilities:

* Manage procurement activities for Solar Power Projects and Electrical Commissioning Projects.

* Handle the complete purchase cycle, from sending inquiries to suppliers through material delivery at site.

* Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, payment terms, and credit periods.

* Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) for both supply and service requirements.

* Monitor payment terms and maintain effective control over the credit cycle.

* Prepare and maintain comparative statements and rate comparison sheets for future reference.

* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

* Visit suppliers and vendors whenever required to support procurement activities.

* Develop and maintain a strong vendor network across India.

* Ensure availability of quality electrical materials at competitive prices.

Required Skills:

* Strong knowledge of electrical items and materials used in solar and electrical projects.

* Good negotiation and vendor management skills.

* Experience in procurement and supply chain activities within the solar/electrical industry.

* Ability to prepare comparative statements, purchase orders, and procurement reports.

* Reasonable fluency in English (written and verbal).

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Adaptable, flexible, and willing to work in a dynamic environment.

* Familiarity with PAN India vendor sourcing and development.

Qualifications:

* Graduate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

* Relevant experience in Solar Power, Electrical EPC, Commissioning, or related industries will be preferred.
