Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and pass routine journal entries.
Prepare and issue sales invoices, purchase invoices, and proforma invoices.
Handle GST-related activities, including GST calculations, input tax credit (ITC), and basic GST compliance.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
Maintain and update customer and vendor ledgers.
Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
Verify purchase bills, sales invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and supporting records.
Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, and compliance, wherever applicable.
Prepare outstanding payment reports and follow up on receivables and payables.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding invoices and payments.
Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts and preparation of financial reports.
