Job Description
Monitor daily operation and generation of solar power plants.
Inspect and maintain solar modules, inverters, transformers, LT/HT panels, ACDB/DCDB, SCB/JB, cables and electrical equipment.
Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
Identify electrical faults and carry out troubleshooting to minimize plant downtime.
Monitor SCADA/inverter data, alarms, generation parameters and plant performance.
Check electrical connections, cable termination, earthing and protection systems.
Read and understand Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical drawings.
Coordinate with technicians and electricians for daily maintenance activities.
Coordinate with OEMs, vendors and service providers for technical issues and breakdowns.
Maintain daily generation reports, breakdown reports, maintenance records and checklists.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly O&M reports using MS Excel.
Maintain records of spare parts and electrical consumables.
Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for major electrical failures and recommend corrective actions.
