Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer with 2–5 years of

experience to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement

of manufacturing equipment and utilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on

experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance, ensuring maximum equipment

uptime, and maintaining safety and quality standards in an EOT crane manufacturing

environment.

Key Responsibilities

● Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production

machinery and equipment.

● Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults and implement

timely corrective actions.

● Ensure maximum machine availability and minimize downtime.

● Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules, records, and reports.

● Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance activities with minimal

disruption.

● Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance

reliability and efficiency.

● Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and coordinate procurement

requirements.

● Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company

policies.

● Support installation, commissioning, and relocation of new machinery and

equipment.

● Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive

actions (CAPA).

● Assist in TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,

or a related discipline.

● 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably

in EOT crane, heavy engineering, fabrication, or industrial equipment

manufacturing.

Required Skills

● Strong knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

● Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

● Understanding of electrical systems, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and industrial

machinery.

● Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

● Familiarity with maintenance planning and documentation.

● Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

● Knowledge of industrial safety practices and maintenance standards.

● Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

● Experience with overhead cranes, hoists, welding equipment, CNC machines,

fabrication machinery, or material handling equipment.

● Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation is an added advantage.

● Exposure to TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or ISO standards is preferred.
