Head – HR (Insureveda)

About Us

We are an Insurance Advisory firm engaged by private insurers to recruit, supervise, and manage Independent Financial Advisors and drive assigned business targets.



Role Summary

As Head – HR, you will be the single point of ownership for all HR and people operations at Insureveda. You will build HR systems from scratch, manage the entire employee lifecycle, and work closely with founders to scale the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end hiring for Financial Advisors, Sales Managers, Telecallers, Operations, and support staff
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for advisor roles
  • Manage onboarding, induction, and coordination with insurance partners for training and joining formalities

2. Payroll, Attendance & HR Operations

  • Oversee attendance, shift management, and leave tracking
  • Coordinate payroll processing with finance team
  • Maintain HRMS data and generate MIS reports

3. Compliance & Labour Laws

  • Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, Contract Labour Act, and Karnataka Shops & Establishment Act
  • Maintain statutory records and manage inspections/audits
  • Handle vendor and contract labour compliance

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as first point of contact for employee queries and grievances
  • Manage disciplinary actions, exit interviews, and F&F settlements
  • Drive engagement and retention initiatives

5. HR Systems & Process Building

  • Design and implement HR policies, SOPs, and processes from scratch
  • Support manpower planning aligned with business targets
  • Drive training, skill development, and compliance programs

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

  • 2–6 years of hands-on HR experience in service/consultancy organizations
  • Experience in recruitment, payroll, and statutory compliance
  • Working knowledge of HRMS tools and MS Excel/Google Sheets
  • Fluency in Kannada, English, Tulu

Preferred

  • Experience in insurance advisory, financial services, mutual funds, or consultancy
  • Prior exposure to setting up HR functions in startups
