Plant Accountant – Tumkur

Job Summary

We are looking for a Plant Accountant to join our Finance team at our Tumkur Plant. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, handling petty cash, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting plant-level finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for the plant.

Record and post sales, purchase, expense, and other accounting entries in Tally.

Maintain and reconcile departmental petty cash and ensure proper documentation of expenses.

Coordinate with various departments for finance and accounting-related requirements.

Raise and follow up on Zoho tickets for finance-related requests and issues.

Prepare and maintain MB (Material/Management Book) reports and other plant-level financial reports as required.

Maintain accurate records and supporting documents for all financial transactions.

Assist the Finance team with reconciliations, reporting, and other accounting activities as required.

Ensure timely completion of routine accounting and documentation activities.

Qualifications & Experience

1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.

Good working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to communicate effectively in Telugu, Kannada, and English.

Candidates with experience in a plant, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar operational environment will be preferred.
