Job Description
Industry: Water & Wastewater Treatment
Experience: 5–8 Years
Salary Range: ₹50,000–₹80,000 per month (CTC)
Position: Senior Process Design Engineer / Process Design Team Lead
*Mandatory Requirements:*
Must have previous working experience in the Water & Wastewater Treatment Industry.
Strong experience in process design of ETP, STP, RO and packaged water/wastewater treatment systems.
Hands-on experience in preparation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Experience in process calculations, hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pump sizing and equipment sizing.
Ability to prepare technical datasheets, equipment specifications and detailed engineering documents.
Experience in process selection, treatment scheme development, water balance and mass balance calculations.
Must have experience in detailed engineering, including technical coordination with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation teams.
Ability to provide technical support for proposal preparation, including treatment schemes, equipment selection and technical clarifications.
Should be capable of analysing new wastewater characteristics and developing suitable treatment solutions.
Strong understanding of wastewater treatment technologies, including biological treatment, filtration, membrane systems and chemical treatment processes.
Ability to lead and guide process design engineers, review engineering deliverables and ensure timely completion.
Should have good technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for wastewater treatment systems.
Ability to coordinate independently with Proposal, Projects, Procurement and Commissioning teams.
*Candidate Preference:*
Candidates from ETP/STP/RO system manufacturers, wastewater treatment EPC companies or water treatment engineering companies.
Candidates with actual process design and detailed engineering experience, not only plant operation or maintenance experience.
Previous experience in handling multiple projects and leading a small engineering team will be an added advantage.
