Job Description

Executive Assistant to Managing Director

Industry: Textile / Spinning Mill

Location:Tiruppur

Reporting To: Managing Director (MD)

The Executive Assistant to the Managing Director will provide high-level administrative, operational, and coordination support to the MD in managing daily business activities of the spinning mill. The role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to coordinate across production, commercial, HR, finance, and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare MIS reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and business correspondence.
  • Coordinate with department heads including Production, Maintenance, HR, Finance, Purchase, and Sales.
  • Follow up on production targets, dispatch schedules, pending actions, and project updates.
  • Handle confidential documents, reports, and management communications.
  • Organize board meetings, customer visits, vendor meetings, and internal reviews.
  • Monitor task completion and ensure timely follow-up with concerned departments.
  • Maintain records, files, contracts, and important company documentation.
  • Assist the MD in strategic planning and execution of operational priorities.
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, government departments, and external stakeholders when required.
  • Support factory administration and special assignments from management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Textile Management, or related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 3–8 years of experience as Executive Assistant / Secretary to senior management, preferably in manufacturing or textile industry.
  • Required Skills:Strong communication skills in English and Tamil.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong coordination and follow-up abilities.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
  • Knowledge of textile/spinning mill operations is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
