Job Description – Dispatch OfficerPosition: Dispatch Officer

Location: Rice Mill / Manufacturing Plant

Salary: As per experience and company norms

• Key Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate daily dispatch operations, including rice loading and vehicle movement.
• Prepare dispatch challans, invoices, e-way bills, LR copies, and other transport-related documents.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, transporters, and customers to ensure timely dispatch of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, stock movements, gate entries, and vehicle details.
• Verify quantity, quality, and documentation before dispatch of materials.
• Ensure proper loading, weighing, and material verification to prevent shortages or discrepancies.
• Monitor vehicle tracking and follow up with transporters to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Coordinate with laborers and drivers during loading and unloading activities.
• Resolve dispatch-related issues and communicate delivery updates to concerned departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and dispatch procedures.
• Prepare daily dispatch reports, pending delivery reports, and logistics status updates.
• Qualifications & Requirements:Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of dispatch operations, logistics, and supply chain activities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and ERP systems (if applicable).
• Experience in dispatch, warehouse, logistics, or transportation operations preferred.
• Knowledge of e-way bill generation and transport documentation.

Preferred Industry: Rice Mill, Food Processing, FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehousing, or Supply Chain Operations.
