Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of agrochemical products to retailers and farmers within the Ernakulam District. Your primary goal will be to drive sales, build strong customer relationships, and provide expert advice to support the agricultural community.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Achieve and exceed sales targets for the assigned territory by effectively promoting our agrochemical product portfolio.
  • Client Relationship Management: Identify, establish, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing retailers, dealers, and key farmers.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs within the district and provide regular feedback to management.
  • Technical Support & Guidance: Provide basic agronomic advice and product usage guidance to farmers, ensuring they achieve the best results while promoting safe and responsible use.
  • Distribution Management: Ensure product availability and visibility at retailer points, managing stock levels and coordinating with the supply chain team.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit daily sales reports, tour plans, and expense sheets in a timely manner.
  • Promotional Activities: Organize and participate in field demonstrations, farmer meetings, and retailer training programs to enhance brand awareness.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any stream.
  • Proven experience of 1-2 years in sales, preferably in the agrochemicals, fertilizers, or agricultural inputs sector. Freshers with a strong desire to build a sales career in agriculture are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in Malayalam and basic English.
  • Strong understanding of the local agricultural landscape and cropping patterns in Ernakulam District.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and be willing to travel extensively within the district.
