Job Description

1. Sales & Portfolio Growth

  • Target Achievement: Drives the delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly credit card acquisition and activation targets for the team.
  • Relationship Management: Develops and manages strategic relationships with corporate clients, merchants, and retail banking branches to generate high-quality leads.
  • Market Expansion: Identifies new avenues for open market and B2B sales (e.g., malls, airports, corporate parks, and metro stations).
  • Cross-Selling: Identifies opportunities to cross-sell other financial products (e.g., loans, wealth management) to existing cardholders.



2. Team Leadership & Training

  • Hiring & Onboarding: Recruits and onboards skilled Business Relationship Managers or Sales Executives in accordance with banking norms.
  • Training & Development: Conducts regular training sessions regarding product features, competitive advantages, and the latest sales pitches.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracks individual team member metrics, conducts regular performance appraisals, and provides actionable coaching.



3. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Adherence to Norms: Ensures that all credit card applications and client interactions strictly follow Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, KYC (Know Your Customer) norms, and internal bank policies.
  • Risk Control: Assesses the creditworthiness of clients during the initial screening process to minimize the risk of default and fraud.
  • Data Privacy: Ensures sensitive financial information and corporate data are handled securely and in compliance with data privacy laws.



4. Operations & Customer Service

  • Application Tracking: Takes complete ownership of the application lifecycle, from initial lead generation to the final delivery of the credit card.
  • Escalation Management: Acts as a point of contact for resolving elevated customer or merchant complaints and rectifying delayed applications cases).
  • Reporting: Prepares and presents accurate business funnel reports and MIS (Management Information Systems) to senior management.
