Role Overview

We're hiring a Social Media Content Editor who can turn ideas into scroll-stopping content. You'll edit Reels, Shorts, and long-form videos in current trending styles, write sharp captions and scripts, and pitch original video ideas that drive real business growth — more views, more followers, more course enrollments.

Location: Dombivli, Maharashtra (Work From Office only — no remote / no hybrid)

Experience: 0–3 years in social media video editing and content creation

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos using trending formats, transitions, effects, and audio
• Repurpose long-form content (course previews, testimonials, founder videos) into high-performing short-form clips
• Write hooks, captions, and scripts that are clear, punchy, and built to hold attention
• Brainstorm and pitch original video ideas tied to SkillsPehle's courses, affiliate program, and founder brand
• Track trending audio, formats, and content styles across Instagram and YouTube, and adapt them for our audience
• Create and manage content for SkillsPehle's social channels and our Telegram community
• Work closely with the founder to plan and maintain a consistent content calendar
• Required SkillsStrong hands-on editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
• A sharp eye for what's currently trending on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts — and why it works
• Excellent Hindi/Hinglish writing skills for captions, scripts, and hooks aimed at Indian audiences
• Understanding of hooks, pacing, and retention — you know how to keep someone watching till the end
• A portfolio or demo reel of previously edited social content (mandatory to apply)

Good to Have

• Experience creating content for a founder-led brand, D2C brand, or EdTech/course business
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva) for thumbnails and static posts
• Comfortable assisting with occasional studio shoots
