About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Data Science Trainer who can deliver practical, industry-oriented training to students and working professionals. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct classroom and/or online training sessions on Data Science & Analytics.
• Teach concepts from Python, Statistics, Data Analysis, Machine Learning & Data Visualization.
• Provide hands-on training through live projects, assignments and case studies.
• Design and update training content according to current industry requirements.
• Guide learners in developing portfolio projects and practical applications.
• Evaluate learner performance through tests, assignments and projects.
• Resolve technical queries and provide individual mentoring when required.
• Keep learners updated with current Data Science tools, technologies and industry practices.
• Coordinate with the academic/training team to improve course delivery and learner outcomes.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Python
• NumPy, Pandas & Matplotlib/Seaborn
• Statistics & Probability
• Data Cleaning & Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
• Data Visualization
• Machine Learning – Supervised & Unsupervised Learning
• Scikit-learn
• SQL & Database Fundamentals
• Basic understanding of Deep Learning / NLP is an advantage
• Experience with tools such as Jupyter Notebook, Google Colab, Power BI/Tableau is preferred
• Git/GitHub and project deployment knowledge is an added advantage

Candidate Profile:

• Strong command over Data Science concepts and practical implementation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to beginners as well as experienced learners.
• Confident in conducting interactive, practical and project-based sessions.
• Strong problem-solving and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to continuously learn and upgrade technical knowledge.

Education:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Experience2+ years of relevant experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning or Technical Training.

Candidates with industry experience + training/teaching experience will be preferred.
