Senior Accountant

Books of Accounts

•Maintain complete books of accounts and do daily ledger scrutiny (party ledgers, expense heads, adjustments).

•Review entries made by the Junior Accountant and correct errors.

•Ensure every entry is supported by proper documents (invoice, challan, voucher).

Statutory Compliance

•Handle GST (monthly returns, input tax credit matching, e-invoice/e-way bill where applicable), TDS/TCS deduction, deposit and returns, and other statutory compliance – always before due dates.

•Ensure proper tax treatment on gold/diamond jewellery sales, purchases and job work.

Banking & Payments

•Do bank reconciliation and manage vendor/karigar payments, receipts and cash management.

•Follow up on outstanding receivables and payables.

Inventory & Gold Accounting

•Coordinate with the Inventory team to match stock records with accounting records (quantity, weight and value).

•Maintain gold/metal and diamond accounts, including gold rate adjustments and valuation of stock.

Reporting & Audit

•Prepare weekly and monthly Profit & Loss statements, MIS and cash flow reports.

•Coordinate with statutory/internal auditors and management; provide schedules and clarifications during audits.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Experience in Ledger Scrutiny, Accounts Finalisation, Statutory & Tax Audit of Company, GST & TDS Return 

•⁠ ⁠Experience in CA Office is compulsory
