Sales Executive

ABOUT THE COMPANYJAK Machinery is a Surat-based manufacturer of CNC machinery for woodworking, furniture manufacturing and related industrial applications. We are expanding our regional sales presence and seeking self-driven field sales professionals who can develop markets and convert qualified opportunities into confirmed machinery orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES· 

 Generate qualified leads through factory visits, cold calling, references, exhibitions, digital enquiries and industry networks.

·  Identify prospective customers and develop business across the assigned regional territory.

·  Understand customer applications, current equipment, production challenges, budgets, decision-makers and buying timelines.

·  Recommend suitable CNC machines; explain technical and productivity benefits; coordinate demonstrations and sample trials.

·  Prepare and follow up on quotations, negotiate within approved limits and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.

·  Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, visits, quotations, next actions, expected closures and customer commitments.

·  Monitor competitors, pricing, customer feedback and lost-order reasons; share useful market intelligence.

·  Coordinate complete order handover, booking advances and payment milestones with internal teams; obtain approval before committing delivery dates or custom specifications.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS· 

 2–5 years of B2B field sales experience, ideally in industrial machinery or capital equipment.

·  Proven ability to prospect independently, conduct factory visits, negotiate and personally close sales.

·  Comfortable speaking with factory owners, production heads and purchase decision-makers.

·  Basic technical understanding of manufacturing machinery; willing to learn CNC applications.

·  Working knowledge of CRM, Excel and sales reporting; willingness to travel extensively.

·  Hindi and relevant regional language proficiency; working English preferred.

·  Existing manufacturing/furniture industry contacts and mechanical or production background are advantages.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS·

  Consistent qualified pipeline development, customer visits and demonstrations.

·  Monthly and quarterly sales order booking and conversion performance.

·  Accurate CRM reporting, disciplined follow-ups and new-customer development.

·  Compliance with approved pricing, payment terms, specifications and delivery commitments.
