Job Description
- 1. SALES & TARGET ACHIEVEMENTAchieve monthly, weekly and daily store sales targets.
- Monitor salesperson-wise targets and performance.
- Improve conversion ratio, average bill value and product mix.
- Focus on high-margin products, accessories and extended warranty sales.
- Ensure proper follow-up of all customer enquiries and pending leads.
- Drive repeat business and customer referrals.
- 2. TEAM & MANPOWER MANAGEMENTManage and motivate the complete store sales team.
- Allocate daily targets to each salesperson.
- Conduct daily morning briefings and performance reviews.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming and discipline.
- Train staff on product features, offers, finance schemes and sales techniques.
- Identify low-performing employees and take corrective action.
- Maintain a positive, professional and target-oriented work environment.
- 3. CUSTOMER SERVICEEnsure every customer receives excellent service.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues quickly.
- Ensure proper product demonstration and explanation.
- Monitor customer feedback and Google reviews.
- Maintain strong relationships with regular and high-value customers.
- Ensure proper coordination for delivery, installation and after-sales service.
- 4. STOCK & INVENTORY MANAGEMENTMonitor daily stock availability and movement.
- Ensure physical stock matches system stock.
- Control stock ageing and identify slow-moving products.
- Coordinate stock requirements with warehouse and management.
- Ensure proper receiving, transfer and dispatch procedures.
- Prevent stock damage, shortage, misuse and unauthorized movement.
- Ensure all products are properly displayed and tagged with correct prices.
- 5. BILLING & SYSTEM CONTROLEnsure all sales are billed correctly through the authorized billing system.
- Verify customer details, GST details, payment mode and product information.
- Ensure no unauthorized billing, discount or payment method is used.
- Check daily billing reports and cash/collection reports.
- Ensure proper documentation for exchanges, cancellations and returns.
- Report system issues immediately to the concerned department.
- 6. MARGIN & PROFITABILITYAchieve store-wise gross margin targets.
- Monitor brand-wise and category-wise profitability.
- Avoid unnecessary discounts and unauthorized price reductions.
- Promote products with better margin wherever appropriate.
- Monitor salesperson-wise margin performance.
- Control unnecessary store expenses and operational costs.
- 7. DISPLAY & MERCHANDISINGMaintain attractive and organized product displays.
- Ensure all display products are clean, working and properly positioned.
- Check price tags, offer boards and promotional material regularly.
- Follow brand-wise and category-wise display guidelines.
- Ensure showroom presentation meets company standards.
- 8. LEAD MANAGEMENT & FOLLOW-UPEnsure every enquiry is properly recorded and followed up.
- Review pending leads every day.
- Monitor salesperson-wise follow-up performance.
- Focus on converting old/pending enquiries into sales.
- Maintain proper customer database for future follow-ups.
- 9. FINANCE & PAYMENT CONTROLEnsure all payments are collected through approved payment channels.
- Verify cash, card, UPI and finance transactions.
- Ensure daily cash reconciliation.
- Prevent unauthorized payment collection or personal-account transactions.
- Report any payment discrepancy immediately to management.
- 10. DELIVERY & INSTALLATION COORDINATIONCoordinate with warehouse and delivery teams for timely delivery.
- Ensure customer delivery commitments are properly communicated.
- Coordinate installation requirements with the concerned team.
- Follow up on pending delivery and installation complaints.
- Ensure customer receives proper documentation at the time of delivery.
- 11. DISCIPLINE & SOP COMPLIANCEEnsure complete compliance with company SOPs.
- Maintain store opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure staff follows uniform and grooming standards.
- Monitor showroom cleanliness and housekeeping.
- Ensure employees follow company rules regarding billing, discounts, payments and stock.
- Immediately report serious violations to management.
