CVD Diamond Manufacturing Supervisor

• We are looking for a responsible, disciplined, technically sound, and production-focused CVD Diamond Manufacturing Supervisor for our CVD Diamond Manufacturing Plant.

Job Description

• The CVD Diamond Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day-to-day CVD production activities, machine operations, operator performance, production schedules, process monitoring, shift coordination, safety, and production reporting.
• The candidate will work closely with CVD Machine Operators, Production Managers, Engineers, Maintenance Teams, Quality Teams, and Utility Teams to ensure smooth machine operation and timely completion of production cycles.

Key Responsibilities Supervise

• daily CVD diamond manufacturing operations on the production floor.
• Manage and guide CVD Machine Operators during the assigned shift.
• Ensure all machines are operated according to approved SOPs and production instructions.
• Monitor machine start, running, loading, unloading, and shutdown activities.
• Check machine parameters including power, pressure, temperature, gas flow, vacuum, cooling, recipe, and growth time.
• Ensure operators regularly check and record machine parameters.
• Monitor machine-wise production status throughout the shift.
• Identify abnormal machine behavior, alarms, process variation, or production issues.
• Immediately report major technical issues to the Production Manager or Engineer.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for machine breakdowns and technical problems.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime during the shift.
• Follow up on machines under breakdown, maintenance, or testing.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• The CVD Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring:
• Shift-wise production achievement
• Machine running status
• Machine utilization
• Machine downtime
• Breakdown reporting time
• Operator productivity
• Shift discipline
• Production run completion
• Machine-wise production records

Key Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in CVD Diamond Manufacturing, Machine Operation, Production, or Industrial Manufacturing preferred.
• Previous experience as a CVD Operator, Senior Operator, Shift In-Charge, Production Supervisor, or similar position preferred.
• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Production, or related technical field preferred.
• Good understanding of CVD machine operations.
