Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development


- Assist in implementing sales strategies to achieve business targets.

- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends.

- Support business expansion initiatives across target markets.


Customer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain relationships with OMCs, distilleries, feed manufacturers, traders, distributors, and bulk buyers.

- Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into business opportunities.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.


Quotation & Sales Coordination

- Prepare quotations, pricing sheets, and sales proposals.

- Coordinate with internal teams for contract documentation and approvals.

- Support the sales team during negotiations and commercial discussions.


Order Management & Logistics Coordination

- Track customer orders from confirmation to delivery.

- Coordinate with production, logistics, and dispatch teams to ensure timely execution.

- Resolve customer concerns related to deliveries, documentation, and product quality.


Invoicing & Payment Follow-up

- Assist in invoice generation and order documentation.

- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers for collections.

- Maintain accurate records of receivables and payment status.


Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain customer databases, sales trackers, and CRM records.

- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.

- Share market intelligence and competitor updates with management.


Regulatory & Industry Compliance

- Develop an understanding of the Ethanol Blending Program (EBP), GST regulations, and feed industry compliance requirements.

- Assist in preparing documentation related to government tenders and supply contracts.


Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Agriculture, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

- MBA in Marketing, Agri-Business, or International Business will be an added advantage.


Skills Required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Basic understanding of sales processes and customer management.

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Familiarity with CRM tools is preferred.

- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

- Willingness to travel for client meetings and field visits.

- Passion for learning about the biofuel, ethanol, and agri-commodity industries.
