Inventory Executive

*Experience: 2–4 years in inventory or store operations, preferably in manufacturing*

*Job Purpose*

To maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock receipts, issues, returns and balances to support smooth production and material availability.

*Key Responsibilities*

1. Maintain accurate stock records for raw materials, hardware, consumables and finished goods.

2. Verify quantities and item details of materials received against purchase orders and delivery documents. Report shortages, damage or discrepancies.

3. Record material receipts, issues, transfers and returns in the inventory system on time.

4. Issue materials against approved requisitions and maintain supporting records.

5. Monitor stock levels and inform purchase and production teams about replenishment requirements.

6. Conduct periodic physical stock checks and reconcile actual stock with system records.

7. Investigate stock differences and submit discrepancies for review and approved correction.

8. Ensure proper item coding, labelling and storage location records for easy identification and traceability.

9. Track unused materials, production returns and scrap, and maintain separate records.

10. Identify slow-moving, non-moving and excess stock and report it to the reporting head.

11. Coordinate with purchase, production and stores teams to resolve inventory queries.

12. Prepare stock reports covering balances, consumption, shortages and discrepancies.

*Qualification*

Graduate; qualification in Supply Chain Management / Materials Management preferred.

*Technical / Functional Skills*

- Inventory control and stock reconciliation

- Material receipt, issue and return documentation

- MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems

- Understanding of item codes, units of measurement and storage locations

- Knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass and hardware will be an advantage
