Job Description

  • Product & Catalog Management​Product Listing Creation:​Review new product data sheet and ensure all mandatory fields are complete (SKU, name, price, stock, category).
  • ​Upload high-quality, approved product images and videos following platform-specific guidelines (size, resolution, file format).
  • ​Set correct pricing, inventory levels, and tax/shipping information.
  • Assign products to the correct category path for optimal discoverability.
  • ​Perform a final live check to ensure all links and elements display correctly on desktop and mobile.
  • Pricing & Promotions:​Implement price changes, discounts, and promotional banners/codes as per the marketing calendar.
  • ​Verify promotion mechanics are working correctly before launch (e.g., "Buy 2 Get 1 Free").
  • ​II. Order Fulfillment & Inventory​Order Processing:​Monitor the Order Management System (OMS) for new orders every [X] hours (e.g., 2 hours).
  • Verify payment confirmation and flag any suspicious or potentially fraudulent orders for manual review.
  • ​Check and reserve stock in the system; initiate backorder process for out-of-stock items and notify the customer within 4 hours.
  • ​Generate and transmit the picking list/packing slip to the warehouse/logistics team.
  • Shipping & Tracking:​Ensure shipping labels are generated with the correct carrier and service level.
  • Update the order status to "Shipped" in the system immediately upon dispatch.
  • ​Send the shipping confirmation email, including the carrier name and valid tracking number, to the customer.
  • Inventory Control:​Conduct daily monitoring of low-stock items and alert the procurement/inventory team to trigger reorders based on set reorder points.
  • ​Reconcile and update physical vs. system inventory discrepancies on a [daily/weekly] basis.
  • ​III. Customer Service & Returns​Inquiry Handling:​Address all customer inquiries (email, chat, phone) within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) (e.g., 4 business hours).
  • ​Utilize standard response templates for common questions (e.g., order status, product details).
  • ​Escalate complex technical or payment issues to the relevant department immediately using the defined escalation path.
  • Returns & Refunds:​Process return and exchange requests according to the published policy.
  • ​Log return tracking information and notify the customer once the return package is received.
  • ​Initiate refunds or process exchanges within [X] days of receiving the returned item.
  • ​Inspect returned items for quality and update the system (restock, quarantine, or discard).
  • ​IV. Performance Monitoring & Optimization​Platform Health:​Perform a daily site audit to check for broken links, image display errors, or incorrect pricing on the homepage and top product pages.
  • Reporting & Analysis:​Generate and analyze the Daily Sales Report (DSR).
  • ​Ensure all new content, blogs, or banners are uploaded correctly and display properly across all devices.
