Dispatch Executive

Job SummaryWe are looking for a Dispatch, Packing & Fabric Cutting Executive to manage the day-to-day activities related to fabric cutting, packing, order preparation, and dispatch. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that fabric orders are accurately prepared, properly packed, and dispatched on time.

• Key ResponsibilitiesHandle fabric cutting as per order requirements, measurements, and cutting instructions.
• Check fabric quantity, quality, width, and specifications before cutting and packing.
• Prepare fabric rolls, pieces, and orders for dispatch.
• Ensure correct folding, rolling, tagging, labeling, and packing of fabrics.
• Verify order details, quantities, colors, designs, and customer requirements before dispatch.
• Coordinate with the sales, warehouse, production, and accounts teams for smooth order processing.
• Prepare and maintain dispatch-related records, challans, invoices, and packing details.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of fabrics to prevent damage, stains, or mix-ups.
• Coordinate with transporters/courier partners for timely dispatch.
• Track dispatched orders and follow up on pending or delayed deliveries.
• Maintain proper stock movement records for fabric received, cut, packed, and dispatched.
• Ensure the packing area and cutting area are clean and organized.
• Follow company procedures for safety, quality, and inventory control.
• RequirementsPrevious experience in textile, fabric, garment, warehouse, packing, or dispatch operations will be preferred.
• Basic understanding of fabrics, fabric measurements, cutting, and packing.
• Ability to accurately measure and cut fabric as per requirements.
• Basic knowledge of dispatch documentation and inventory handling.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify quantity or order discrepancies.
• Responsible, punctual, and physically active.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple orders.
• Basic computer knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Preferred CandidateCandidates with experience in a textile/fabric company will be preferred.
• Experience in fabric cutting + packing + dispatch will be an advantage.
• Fresher candidates with basic knowledge of fabrics and a willingness to learn may also be considered.
