Credit/Loan Appraisal Officer – Short Job Description 

Focus: CMA Data & Project Reports for Bank Loans

Core Role: Assess borrower creditworthiness and prepare documents to get loans sanctioned from banks.

Key Duties:

1. Appraise Loan Proposals - Check financials, ITR, GST, bank statements, CIBIL. Calculate ratios like DSCR, Current Ratio, D/E. 

2. Prepare CMA Data - Make Forms I to VI with 2 yrs past + 3 yrs projected P&L, Balance Sheet, Fund Flow, MPBF calculation for working capital loans.

3. Make Project Reports - For term loans: cost of project, means of finance, 5-7 yr projections, DSCR, BEP, market & technical analysis.

4. Bank Liaison - Compile loan file, reply to bank queries, attend meetings, ensure RBI/bank policy compliance.

5. Risk Analysis - Evaluate 5 Cs of Credit, collateral, repayment capacity, and recommend sanction/rejection.

Skills Needed: Tally, Excel, financial analysis, knowledge of RBI norms, CMA formats, banking products. 

Qualification: B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance/CA Inter + 1-3 yrs exp in banking/CA firm/finance preferred.
