Civil Estimate Engineer

Key Responsibilities

 Quantity Take-offs: Extract detailed quantities from architectural, structural, and infrastructure drawings.

 SOR Estimation: Prepare detailed Estimates, Abstract Sheets, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) strictly adhering to the latest departmental SORs (Roads & Buildings, Water Resources, Public Health, etc.).

 Rate Analysis: Perform accurate rate analysis for non-SOR or star items based on market rates, labor outputs, and machinery requirements.

 Liaison & Compliance: Ensure all estimates comply with Gujarat government standards, codes, and specific departmental formatting rules for smooth approval processes.

 Documentation: Prepare technical specifications, tender documentation, and cost-justification reports.

 Site Coordination: Coordinate with design engineers and project managers to clarify scope discrepancies and refine cost assumptions.
