Civil Engineer

Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
• Min. 3–5 years in facility management, building maintenance or construction/infra projects.
• Solid grip on civil repair, maintenance and site execution; experience managing contractors, BOQs and measurements.
• AutoCAD and MS Office knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving; hands-on and proactive.
• Open to working extra hours during major works or events.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, structures, flooring, roofing, drainage and external areas regularly; flag and fix issues promptly.
• Plan and supervise repairs, renovations and space modifications to improve facility function and appearance.
• Prepare BOQs, estimates and technical specs; support budgeting for civil works.
• Manage contractors, vendors, architects and consultants — ensure work meets scope, quality, safety and timelines.
• Check material/workmanship quality, track costs and contractor bills, and close out projects properly.
• Spot recurring problems and push practical fixes to improve long-term facility performance.
• Maintain records of assets, inspections, maintenance and project work; report to management periodically.
• Support civil/facility needs during exhibitions, conferences and events, including urgent requirements.
• Handle emergency repairs and breakdowns affecting operations.
• Take on other civil/FM tasks as assigned.
