Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Fabric Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance. Experience in the textile or fabric industry will be an added advantage.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring timely compliance.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filing.
• Manage tax-related documentation and statutory compliance.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
• Prepare purchase, sales, and expense entries.
• Generate MIS reports and financial reports for management.
• Assist in monthly and annual closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintain accounting records as per company policies.
• RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Fabric/Textile Manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Preferred SkillsExperience in textile manufacturing accounting.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and vendor reconciliation.
• Familiarity with ERP software is an added advantage.
