Jewellery Sales Executive – Job Description

Position: Jewellery Sales Executive


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Jewellery Sales Executive to promote and sell diamond, gold, and gemstone jewellery to retail and wholesale clients. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and providing excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting jewellery according to their preferences and budget.
  • Explain product features, diamond specifications, certifications, and pricing.
  • Generate new business opportunities through calls, WhatsApp, social media, and referrals.
  • Follow up with existing and potential customers to convert inquiries into sales.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales service requests.
  • Coordinate with the production team for custom jewellery orders.
  • Maintain showroom display and inventory records.
  • Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales reports.
  • Stay updated on jewellery trends, diamond knowledge, and market developments.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 1–5 years of experience in jewellery sales, retail sales, or luxury goods sales.
  • Knowledge of gold, diamond, gemstone, and lab-grown diamond jewellery.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and CRM software.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Target-oriented and self-motivated personality.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B jewellery sales.
  • Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes.
  • Experience handling social media and WhatsApp leads.
  • Familiarity with diamond grading and jewellery certifications.

  • Monthly sales revenue achieved.
  • Number of new customers acquired.
