Quality Inspector

Quality Assurance Manager – Women’s Ethnic Wear.

Qualification: Textile Degree with Experience 5 to 6 years in garments manufacturing.

Roles and Responsibilities

To develop, manage, implement, communicate and maintain a Quality plan.

To co-ordinate with the merchandising and production teams for quality norms for all styles & to achieve the required quality standard.

Assist technicians for checking pattern specification and construction.

Supervise sampling and production methods.

Conduct Pre-production meeting.

Ensure all quality & production issues by auditing and controlling

Follow up pre-final inspection.

Define a process for documenting and managing bugs

Coordinate efforts between multiple teams to achieve product quality goals.

Provide oversight of products being produced complies with customer specifications and quality requirements.

Identify areas of improvement / innovation to add value to products on continuous basis

Work with all new teams and help train them & get up to speed regarding quality assurance practices and SOPs along with product knowledge.

Hold periodic status meetings with key stakeholders regarding the status of various quality assurance projects.

Balance competing objectives across various quality and oversight activities.

Develop reports covering data analysis and corrective action preventive action (CAPA) base on transaction monitoring.

Review, author and execute the remediation plans

Co-ordination with teams to get the inspection done at the time of Fittings, Initials, Inline, Midline & Final.

Responsible for setting all processes related to quality, standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are to be followed.

To carry out other tasks as assigned by management from time to time.

Ultimately being responsible for final quality product.

Analyse and understand customer feedback and take necessary action for improving the overall quality.

Candidate should be from Garment Industry and should have experience of Women’s ethnic wear.
