Floor Supervisor

Job Title: Factory / Floor Supervisor – Furniture & Interior Manufacturing

Experience: 3 to 6 Years (Must have hands-on carpentry & machine operation background)

About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on, technically sound Floor Supervisor for our furniture and interior manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must be able to read technical drawings, manage a team of carpenters and helpers, oversee quality production, and operate woodworking machinery when required.

Key Responsibilities:

 * Drawing & Execution: Read and interpret 2D/3D shop drawings, AutoCAD layouts, and prepare/verify cutting lists for carpenters.

 * Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks to carpenters, helpers, edge bander operators, and polishers to ensure timely production.

 * Hands-on Machine Operation: Operate and assist workers on key machinery (Panel Saw, Edge Banding, Spindle Moulder, Multi-boring, Routers, etc.) whenever required.

 * Quality Control (QC): Inspect raw materials and finished products for accurate dimensions, seamless edge banding, flawless joinery, and proper hardware fittings (Hettich, Hafele, Ebco, etc.).

 * Wastage & Inventory Control: Ensure optimum utilization of plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates, and veneers to minimize raw material wastage.

 * Daily Reporting: Maintain daily production logs, labor attendance, and report progress directly to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 * Technical Skills: Drawing Reading, Cutting List Calculation, Modular Furniture Assembly, Hardware Knowledge.

 * Machinery: Hands-on experience operating Panel Saw, Edge Bander, and Hand Power Tools.

 * Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a modular furniture/interior factory. Candidates with a strong past as a skilled carpenter/machinist are preferred.

 * Education: 10th / 12th / ITI (Carpentry/Machinist) or Diploma.
