Head Quality Assurance (QA)

Position Summary

The Head – Quality Assurance shall lead the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer, statutory and internal quality requirements across Personal Care, Automotive, Industrial and Aerosol manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities·      

•    Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• ·      Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, FDA and applicable regulatory requirements.
• ·        Approve batch records, COAs and product release.
• ·        Lead QC laboratory operations and documentation control.
• ·        Manage customer complaints, deviations, CAPA and root cause investigations.
• ·        Lead customer, supplier and certification audits.
• ·        Drive supplier quality management and continuous improvement.
• ·        Lead QA/QC teams and conduct training.
• ·        Coordinate with Production, R&D, Purchase and Stores.
• ·        Monitor KPIs including complaints, rejections, audit scores and COPQ.

Qualifications-B.Pharm/M.Pharm, B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience-12–15 years in Quality Assurance with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in aerosols, cosmetics, personal care, automotive chemicals or FMCG preferred.

Authority·       

 Stop production where quality is compromised.

·        Reject non-conforming materials or finished goods.

·        Place batches on hold pending investigation.

·        Approve or reject product release.
