Job Description
1-Good knowledge of electrical systems and industrial electrical equipment.
2-Practical experience in operating and maintaining refrigeration compressors, including KC4 and KC6 compressors.
3-Good knowledge of chiller plant operation, including temperature control and monitoring.
4-Knowledge of Ice Bank Tank (IBT) operation, temperature monitoring, and basic maintenance.
5-Experience in DG/Generator operation, including starting, stopping, load management, and basic troubleshooting.
6-Knowledge of milk chilling processes and the ability to maintain the required milk temperature safely and consistently.
7-Ability to monitor compressor pressure, temperature, oil level, current, voltage, and other operating parameters.
8-Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and routine inspection of machines and equipment.
9-Ability to identify abnormal sounds, vibration, overheating, leakage, pressure variations, and other early signs of machine failure.
10-Basic troubleshooting skills for electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical problems.
11-Knowledge of pumps, valves, pipelines, cooling systems, and other equipment associated with a milk chilling plant.
12-Ability to operate the complete plant safely and efficiently and coordinate the operation of different machines.
13-Knowledge of safety procedures, including electrical safety, refrigeration safety, PPE, and emergency shutdown procedures.
14-Ability to maintain machine operation and maintenance records, including compressor running hours, generator hours, temperatures, breakdowns, and maintenance activities.
15-Ability to handle emergency situations and take immediate corrective action in case of equipment failure or abnormal operating conditions.
16-Good housekeeping and cleanliness practices around machinery and the plant area.
17-Ability to work in shifts, including night shifts, and remain available during critical plant operations.
18-Good overall knowledge of machine handling, operation, maintenance, and coordination of the entire chilling plant.
