Responsibilities:

• Installation and Configuration:

Setting up and configuring POS hardware, desktops, cash registers, laptops, databases, and printers.

• Maintenance and Support:

Ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of POS systems, including regular maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

• Troubleshooting:

Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues related to POS systems.

• Technical Support:

Providing technical support to users of POS systems, addressing their questions and resolving their issues.

• Hardware and Software Updates:

Installing and managing software updates and patches for POS systems.

• Data Security:

Ensuring the security of sensitive data processed by POS systems.

• Networking:

Understanding and troubleshooting network issues that may affect POS systems.

• Collaboration:

Working with other IT teams and departments to ensure smooth operation and integration of POS systems.

• Documentation:

Maintaining accurate documentation of POS systems, including hardware configurations, software versions, and troubleshooting procedures.
