Job Description
The Admin and Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations and administrative functions. The role includes budgeting, accounting, compliance, office administration, vendor management, payroll coordination, and ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations
Key Responsibilities
Finance Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Handle bank reconciliations and fund management.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance filings.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks.
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor expenses against budgets.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Process payroll and employee reimbursements.
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting.
Administration Responsibilities
• Oversee office administration and facility management.
• Manage office assets, maintenance, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
• Ensure proper record keeping of contracts, agreements, and company documents.
• Supervise housekeeping, security, transport, and office support staff.
• Handle travel arrangements and employee accommodation if required.
• Implement and maintain administrative policies and SOPs.
• Ensure smooth functioning of daily office operations.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/Tally, and accounting software.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
• MBA Finance / M.Com / CA Inter preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in finance and administration roles.
Preferred Experience
• Experience in handling audits and compliance.
• Experience managing office administration and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools.
Working Conditions
• Full-time office-based role.
• May require coordination beyond regular office hours during audits or month-end closures.
